...St. Paul
a walk along the mighty Mis'sip
St. Paul's Upper Landing walking trail

St. Paul doesn't really qualify as a big city even though it is Minnesota's capital. It's a wonderful spot to view the mighty Mississippi River with lengthy and scenic walking/biking trails on either bank.

The downtown is adjacent to the Summit Hill area where both the Capitol Building and the mammoth Cathedral of St. Paul can be visited.

St Paul's Cathedral
A prominent port city, St. Paul takes advantage of its water access by providing walking and biking trails all along the Mississippi.
Probably the most recognized building in St. Paul is the Cathedral of St. Paul. It has stood since 1917, towering over downtown and Summit Hill.
