Oh, my. Sweet, sweet Holland.

Politically, the term Holland is incorrect. It’s officially the Kingdom of the Netherlands. Or just the Netherlands.

Land of tulips, windmills, cheeses and canals. For such a small country, it's much more diverse than one would think.

One of its main industries: flowers. And a likely place to showcase them is at Keukenhof Gardens in Lisse in the spring, where this series of pictures was taken.

An easy day can be spent casually strolling the multi-acre immaculate grounds capturing the beauty of some seven million flowers and the surrounding flower fields.

Keukenhof is located southwest of Amsterdam just outside the town of Lisse.

Flower farms in the surrounding area of Lisse offer gorgeous views that continue as far as the eye can see.
