The Alcova Reservoir is not an area of Wyoming I had ever heard of. The stunning terrain was a pleasant surprise, a hidden treasure. It's a popular fishing, boating and camping mecca for the Casper area, run by the National Recreation Services.
Alcova is located about 30 miles southwest of Casper.
